Understanding Australian Accounting Standards
Australian Accounting Standards (AAS) are a set of principles established and maintained by the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) to regulate the preparation and presentation of financial statements in Australia. The core objective of these standards is to provide a consistent and clear methodology for financial reporting, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions based on reliable and comparable financial information.
How will this training help me?
The Training Academy recognises the importance of the AAS, and we can help you to develop a robust understanding of what they are. Our AAS eLearns are suitable for new graduates through to long-term professionals.
We break down the principles and concepts in each standard using examples and case studies to allow for better retention of the content. Our eLearns typically take between 60 to 120 minutes to complete and give you a comprehensive understanding of each standard without having to read through the standard itself.
